Using a singular game to say one should subscribe I can't really get behind. There's nothing wrong with the Game Pass model, and FH4 is a strong case for subscribing to the service, but I feel this article kind of enhances the benefits of game pass while disregarding the downsides, and certainly not giving the benefits of purchase. They wouldn't just be subscribing for the sake of it during months when there isn't anything there they want to play out of some false sense of losing access for a period of time. That benefit costs more, but one can control their spending by buying when the price is agreeable to them, and that game is available to them without having to worry about if they can pay each month, or price increases, or content being removed before they're done playing it, etc. Paying for games means you get the game you want, when you want. While one could say that they could play any number of games, are they the games that people really want to play, or just filler until the next game that comes out. Lets say one goes more than 6 months before the next game comes out they want to play. Hmmm.yeah, that's reasonable, especially if one buys digital now.īut one's usage of those games are tied to the ongoing sub.
